Children cutlery

At Hardanger Bestikk, inclusion and family values are important to us. That is why we have developed children’s cutlery based on our best-selling series’ Ramona, Nina, Fjord and Julie. These are designed specifically for children’s hands and children’s motor skills. This cutlery can be used by children until they are 8-10 years old.

For large and small moments

Letting children figure things out on their own can help with coping skills, and thus improve the child’s self-confidence in overcoming minor and major challenges on their own.

The Hardanger children’s cutlery contains a spoon, knife and fork, as well as a tablespoon that can be used for many things, as for example baby food and porridge. This is how Hardanger Children’s cutlery will assist the child from an early age. We at Hardanger Bestikk want to be a contributor to including the children during mealtimes and always strengthen the feeling of unity around the table.

Therefore, you can now decorate with a children’s cutlery that also compliments what the parents eat with. You can set the table with children and adult cutlery in Ramona, Nina, Fjord and Julie – or you can mix with what you have in your cutlery drawer. Find your personal style, here there are no rules. Maybe the child can choose their new favourite cutlery?

Nina

Nina is a lovely and personal children’s cutlery. With its naturalistic design, the series is inspired by traditions in the Hardanger areas such as Rococo style and rose paint. Nina Children cutlery will raise any table setting but is also excellent as an everyday ethic. Who doesn’t want a little extra flair in their everyday life?

Julie

Julie Children’s cutlery is designed with hand comfort in mind and is well balanced with fine tactile qualities. With her playful shapes, Julie is suitable for all children, and for any table setting. It is an example of the very best in Norwegian design – beautiful shapes that clearly spring from the function.

Fjord

Fjord Children cutlery has clean, elegant lines and is inspired by Norwegian nature. With its simple and stylish design, Fjord is suitable for both the breakfast table and more formal dinners. The clean design means that you can also combine Fjord Children cutlery with other cutlery series for adults.

Ramona

Ramona has been our best-selling cutlery series for over 30 years, and now we also welcome Ramona in a children’s suit! Ramona Children’s cutlery has a matt surface that makes the cutlery durable and perfect for everyday life. Ramona also has nice details that look great on a party table. Simply a complete cutlery design! No wonder Ramona has been a favourite among Norwegian homes for many years.

Tuva children cutlery

For the whole family

We distinguish between adult cutlery and children’s cutlery. Still, we want the kids to feel included around the table. It is often fun to eat with the same cutlery as their parents, but it is not always the best for the children. Hardanger Children’s cutlery is specially designed for children’s hands, with rounded and polished edges that are gentle and safer for children.

Maintenance of cutlery
All our designs contain 18% chromium and 10% nickel, which is stainless steel. This quality increases the durability of the cutlery and is durable so you can use the cutlery for all occasions. The children cutlery can be washed in the dishwasher, but we still recommend rinsing the cutlery well in advance to avoid stains. If you want more information, you can read more about cutlery maintenance.

To take better care of the cutlery, we recommend using a cutlery bag. The cutlery bag uses less storage space in the cupboard and contributes to longer life of the cutlery.
