According to us, it is a fusion between tradition and innovation. Cutlery is natural to use on and around the dinner table, it should have a good feel of weight and balance and sit comfortably in your hand. It is crucial that each part work well with its intended purpose, while at same time maintaining the familiar aesthetics — one eye on modernization, the other on who we are and where we come from.
We are a proud supplier of stainless steel of, the highest quality, with design that is created to suit everyone. The quality is very important to us, as cutlery is something that is used daily. Stainless steel is a combination of 18% chromium and 10% nickel. Nickel has the property that makes the steel softer and more malleable. Nickel allows the steel to withstand acid, water and rust. Stainless steel means “rust resistant”.
With that said, it is also important to take care of the cutlery. Below we have listed our recommendations:
Wash the cutlery as soon as possible after use.
Do not soak the cutlery.
Make sure your dishwasher is set according to the Manufacturer’s recommendations for water hardness in your area.
Do not overfill the dishwasher’s cutlery basket, leave some space for the cutlery to move.
Remove the cutlery from the dishwasher as soon as the program is finished. If necessary, wipe the cutlery before placing back in the cutlery drawer. Our knives are more sensitive to damage if the cutlery is placed in the cutlery drawer right away.
If your cutlery is in contact with extremely high temperatures or acid, what is known as “rainbow film” can form on the surface of the cutlery.
Stainless steel can not rust, but marks may form on the surface that may look like rust or black spots on the cutlery. If cutlery is washed alongside other utensils and other types of steel, this can occur, as there are several steel materials that are in contact with each other. Both “rainbow film” and what looks like rust/black spots can be treated with careful use of scouring cream.
